You must fill out a intake package before our first walk, this will be sent to you via email.

We provide a free meet & greet to ensure before our first walk to get to know your dog and allow them to get acquainted with their walker.  

If you are interested in pack walks, an initial assessment is done during the meet & greet to ensure your dog is compatable with the other dogs in the pack walk.

Payment is due in full before the walk begins. Payment can made out in cash or via etransfer.

What does a private walk involve?

Your dog is picked up from your home and we venture out into the neighbourhood to explore some new and familiar walking paths. We are on-leash the entire walk unless otherwise discussed with you. Following the walk your dog is returned home, where we ensure they have fresh water, and are safely secure so they can relax while awaiting your return home. Walks are 30 or 60 minutes long and the pick up & drop off are included in that time frame. Primarily the focus is on a mental and physical exercise, as well as the chance to explore the world outside. 

What does a pack walk involve?

Your dog is picked up from your home and walked/driven to an off-leash area with a small group of 3-6 dogs. We are on-leash getting out of the car and until we reach a safe area to be unleashed. The walk is a full hour and may be on or off leash depending on the pack & the adventure that is planned for that day. 

How many dogs are in a pack?

We only take comparatively small groups of dogs - up to a maximum of 6 dogs. We keep some groups smaller for dogs that may benefit from it. 

How are the dogs transported?

We use our personal vehicles to transport the dogs. Dogs are placed appropriately based on their travel preferences and to ensure a calm journey for all.

My dogs recall is non-existent, can they join pack walks?

All of our pack dogs start on a long-line. Their recall is tested in a variety of situations and environments before they graduate to a drop-leash, and then off-leash. This can take anywhere between 1 week and a few months. But ultimately we are working towards them being off-leash dogs. If upon assessment, we decide it is in your dogs best interest to complete a training program to sharpen loose leash & recall skills before being accepted into pack walks than we will discuss the options with you. 

How much does it cost, and can we get a discount for multiple dogs?

Private walks are priced depending on the length of the walk. Discounts are given for regular private walks. There is the option to add time to the walks in increments for an additional fee. Pack walks are $35. We have limited spots in the pack and therefore do not offer pack spot discounts. 

Do you offer walks in snowy or cold weather?

Yes, we walk year round. Some safety measures are put into place once temperatures fall below -20/-25 degrees - such as walking dogs on-leash and for a reduced amount of time depending on their individual needs and comfort level. As dogs have varying tolerance levels for cold, we group dogs based on their preferences.

Do you offer walks in very hot weather?

Yes, we walk year round. Some safety measures are put into place once temperatures rise above 20 degrees - such providing frequent water and shade breaks. Walks may be shortened if the dog requires.  Some dogs are moved to private on-leash walks and walked for a reduced amount of time depending on their individual needs and comfort level e.g. flat-nosed breeds. As dogs have varying tolerance levels for heat, we group dogs based on their preferences.

Which Calgary neighborhoods do you provide dog walker services?

We service all of Calgary as well as surrounding cities (including Airdrie & Chestermere) for private & pack walks. 

How many people will walk my dog?

All walks are done by one person, we try not to vary who walks our dogs so that humans and dogs are able to build comfortability and familiarity. Sometimes circumstances may occur where your regular walker is unavailable, in that case we offer an alternative walker for the day. This ensures a continuation of service when a walker is on vacation or ill. 

How do the dog walkers keep my home secure?

In your service agreement you are asked to list how you would like us to access your home. This may be via a key given directly to us, a key in a lockbox, a door code or whichever method you prefer us to use. We strive to ensure our clients feel that their home and dogs are well cared for, loved and secured as if it were our own. 

How do I book a walk?

First step is to contact us to book your free meet & greet. You will be asked to fill out an intake package before our first walk.  Once the meet & greet is done & the intake package is complete we can book our first walk.
